Bloopers! (A Pair of Happy Fools)

Happy April 1st, lovelies! I've spoken about this on my YouTube channel, but realize I haven't exactly talked about it here so... As some may know and others may not, I lost all my data for my book "The Doll" when my external hard drive died last year. Since then, it's been like pulling teeth to redo the work. I'd been reformatting the images for a better book size when it happened. Since I'd already put all my original png pages into KDP (Amazon's self-publishing platform for picture books), I still had the flat images - the PNGs. But I didn't have the layers. I needed to go in and re-layer everything because the pages from my test copy were too crowded. It's grueling to redo work you've already done, and coupled with an attention span that needed a lot of work to recover after years of staying in a hole inside myself (YAY! Victory over Depression! but boo~ to the fallout... it's a journey of recovery for things like memory and self-discipline), it's been a process to get everything back. BUT. I'm getting better each day, each week, each month! Using YouTube streaming as a motivation tool, I livestreamed re-layering "The Doll" work in recent ChillCreate streams. And now I'm working on learning how to fix the issues I've had in Audio, along with learning how to make music with a program instead of just record it (since i struggle with EQ leveling... still *sigh), and make the characters move around the screen in basic movement while the narration is being given. My awesome friend Maurice Sanders did the voices for my story and I'm SO THANKFUL. So for April 1st, I decided to give you guys a taste of our foolishness behind the scenes. Never Fear!
